DirectPointe
Assist Implementation manager by working with clients and vendors gathering, organizing,
and entering information. DirectPointe provides lifecycle IT solutions to various
companies both locally and nationally. Services offered to a client are assigned
to a team consisting of an Implementation Manager, Implementation Coordinator, Technical
Lead, Workstation Lead, and others. This team is responsible for implementing all
purchased services for the client and setting up proper documentation for continued
support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Visit with clients and vendors to gain information needed to build a solution.
- Gather specific computer information, contacting vendors like Microsoft for license
code/key verification, contacting support for DirectPointe technicians, etc.
- Document all software used by a client with appropriate licensing information into
DirectPointe systems.
- Prepare information for use by various DirectPointe departments, enter information
into DirectPointe systems.
- Pass gathered information on to the appropriate department.
- Work with technical leads and other technical staff to gather information for documentation
including knowledgebase articles.
- Finalize prepared documentation for each client install.
- Miscellaneous: Setup meetings, track equipment & software, track progress in each
project, etc.
Qualifications
- Time: Must be open to working nights and weekends as well as travel. Must be able
to work overtime as needed.
- Must enjoy working with people and computers.
- Must be savvy at MS office products, particularly Word and Excel.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
- Must be able to push others to accomplish tasks while maintaining a balanced relationship.
- Must be able to understand bigger picture and be self motivated.
Education and/or Experience
This individual does not need to be a computer support technician.
Language Skills
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
